Zhong Hua Construction Foundation & Francis Lau Hostel Accommodation Grants for Undergraduate Students of the Medical Faculty 2016-2017
The Faculty is now inviting applications for the Zhong Hua Construction Foundation & Francis Lau Hostel Accommodation Grants for Undergraduate Students of the Medical Faculty (the Grant). The Grant is established to provide financial support to needy undergraduate students of the Faculty to cover their accommodation expenses at Madam S H Ho Residence for Medical Students and Patrick Manson Student Residence. Details of the Grant are summarized below:
Eligible students:
All undergraduate students of the Faculty who are offered accommodation places at either Madam S H Ho Residence for Medical Students or Patrick Manson Student Residence, with residence period between July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017.
Amount of Grant:
- Maximum of HK$8,000 for a 6-month period of stay
- Pro-rated for a stay of less than 6 months
(*Note: The exact amount of Grant is to be determined on the basis of the following:
(1) the family income of the applicant;
(2) the duration of stay of the applicant at Madam S H Ho Residence for Medical Students or Patrick Manson Student Residence; and
(3) the academic merit of the applicant.)
Students who are interested to apply for the Grant shall complete the application form and return it together with all supporting documents to the Faculty Office, 2/F, William MW Mong Block, 21 Sassoon Road by February 17, 2017.
